Friday 5 :)

Hooray! It's finally FRIDAY!! :) :) Today I'm celebrating the top 5 moments of my week.

[ONE.]

My dad always, always knows when I need a text to encourage. He sends the best Bible verses or he just knows how to make my day. Today was one of these days, where I got this text from him. He is seriously the best dad and his encouragement is always appreciated. :)

[TWO.]

I am in LOVE with my Target Beauty Box. Due to the fact that I am in student loan repayment, I cannot afford or justify getting an ipsy or Birchbox monthly subscription -- I am absolutely in LOVE with these boxes from Target. Each one is $5 - free shipping. This box is my 2nd, and included products from Dove, Shea Moisture & a coupon for $3 off $15. Will be redeeming that this weekend for more makeup!

With these boxes coming out every few months, I always stock up when they come out as they sell out ULTRA fast. They also make perfect gifts. :)

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

[THREE.]

At the beginning of the month, I got two really incredible birthday gifts. My 30th birthday is 7 DAYS from tomorrow. I am SO excited. :) :) Anywho, this month I got to pay off my smallest student loan, so I only have 2 left & they are beasts. My second gift: celebrating my health. I've been part of the JessicaSmithTV Community. She's a certified fitness trainer through YouTube and I love her workouts. I've been stocking up on her DVD's but my husband's gift for my birthday was her newest 30 Day Walk On challenge. I finished Day 15 last night and I love this DVD set. I'm still making a decent dent on my weight loss and these DVDs are a perfect add on to my daily workouts. :)

So this is definitely been a journey for the past year. I am on track to my #size9progress & my future self is definitely thanking me. I am so close. :)

[FOUR.]

I am not a Pumpkin Spice fan but I do love me some candy corn/pumpkin. I definitely treated myself to some last weekend. I am seeing more in my future which is ironic but I definitely don't eat 80 lbs at once. I love this time of year because its everywhere. :)

This particular one is Sea Salt Chocolate. I found it at Target and it is delicious. I bought more than I should but I am saving some for the fall holidays when I need a boost. YAY.

[FIVE.]

Sometimes you need inspiration so you don't eat everything in sight. This is me with dark chocolate lately. I used to hate it and sometimes I just want cake but I found this the other night & I laughed for 10 minutes. ;)

Almost like Ryan Gosling cares about my #size9goal & wants me to keep hitting it hard.

Thanks for stopping by. I am in so much need of sleeping in or a nap. Disney plans on Saturday, World of Beer date night Sunday, catching up on SCANDAL and getting some OT this weekend. :)

Blog Name change//Valentine's Day weekend edition.

I am still smiling, y'all from the weekend I had.

These last few days I decided I need to change my blog name. When I first started this blog, I liked the combination but for the past few months - I was reminded that I am doing and enjoying life with my hubs. In case he ever decides to hop onto the blogging train, I want him to feel like he can and has a spot to do this. So going forward (until my domain changes), we're now 'Adventures with The Robinson's.' So I hope you'll continue to join us as we keep posting our life together. :) Who knows, maybe I will convince him to share his Disney news on here for those who may love Disney as much as we do? Time will tell.

Onward & upward...

That also could be from my delish Hazelnut/Mocha coffee from Wawa before work, which is a rare treat. Yesterday, my hubs started his first day at his new role. I am SO blessed we work for the same university and now we'll have a chance to work a tad closer in the same department ;)

But let me slightly back up.

Saturday morning, my alarm went off at 5:30am - and I excitedly got up. All my training for the past 9 weeks & it was time for my much anticipated race. Wasn't loving the windy 30 degree weather but I was grateful my parents went with me. :)

After the race, I got to meet my beautiful niece. She is a week old already. I kept giving her kisses and talking to her, like how cute her big brother is and how truly gorgeous she is. I can't post pictures as this is privacy standard from her parents. But she is absolutely adorable & for this second time aunt - I will be spoiling her like her brother. :)

Fast forward to Saturday evening. My husband & I treat Valentine's Day as a date night, it's not something we celebrate really. But I got each of us one of the $1 chocolate hearts. & a small cookie cake. This year our date night was one of the restaurants at Epcot - Via Napoli. They make the pizza fresh, all of the servers are from Italy and it overlooks the lake on the World Showcase. :)

The last picture is the brick oven they cook all the pizzas in which are all mouths. I couldn't get a clear picture because this restaurant is always busy with servers/guests running around. But it was fun to eat somewhere different for once. :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Weekend Reflections..

2015 is my year.

- I celebrated my 4th workiversary on Monday with my company. That is a milestone as when I first started this job, I didn't like it. But I've grown a lot in my positions and I really feel like after this time that I've come full circle. I've made some good friends, shared some great memories and I am really optimistic about the opportunities that are waiting for me.

- I am finally back to working out, consistently. My goal is to ring in my 30th in October - weighing a lot less, closer to my goal weight and knowing that I worked hard physically to get there. My 30th era is coming and I am excited - so much to look forward to - having a family, vacations - paying off student loans and seeing what is on the other side. My 20's have mostly been good to me - but I am ready to bring in a new chapter. & yes, I am already planning my big celebration to be something great & memorable.

- Tonight I caught up with my good friend over Starbucks and it was refreshing to be able to share the passion we each for being crafty together. I've known this friend for almost 10 years - this July and it's crazy to think how each of us has grown, matured and embraced live in our own individual ways. This is a milestone friendship with this one. She was one of my Maid of Honors, and has been my best friend for 10 years. I don't really use that term anymore  because my husband is my best friend but paired with four others - she also holds that title :)  2015 is going to be our year collectively as we find ourselves doing what we love to do.

- Tonight before my friend date - I picked up my order from Home Depot and I slightly laughed. Usually I don't shop at Home Depot like I do Target. But last week - I had some extra money and wanted to invest in my home, never a bad idea - and bought some new towel bars for my bathroom - that looked classy, and ones that Ron Burgundy would be proud of. I walked in the store, with my cute leggings and my favorite Vera Bradley bag and prob looked like a fish outta water..

- Back to the working out obsession in my life. I can tell that this is back to being a priority. I've watched the junk I put in my body, when I get home from work - the very FIRST thing I want to do is work out and I just feel great after a good workout. I saw a basket of Cadbury Creme Eggs, and while they were tempting -- I took a picture of them but didn't even pick one up to entertain the thought. I got my goals and I am not afraid to work out hard now to look good later.

- Gilmore Girls marathons rock my face off. This show saved my life during high school and I love how the stories of the characters are invested in my life. I always pride the fact that I am as sarcastic as Lorelai. But when Luke + Lorelai broke up - I had tears in my eyes. This show is the bees knees, y'all. & I thank God that it's on Netflix :)

So I challenge each of you - pick SOMETHING or two that you want to learn how to do it and accomplish it. For the longest time, I lived in fear about my chest size and running. This year I taking up these 5 things to the best of my ability and I know the hard work/effort will pay off in the end. What is YOUR something??

1) Running at my comfortable pace.
2) Sewing
3) Crocheting
4) Knitting
5) Finishing my book to get published!

So - cheers to you + I for the year ahead. Big plans for me and I am thrilled for each of them. First things first - getting the rest I need to work out, to be able to lose the weight, to wear the dress on the beach. So, goodnight + thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your Sunday. <3 - Jessica

Fourth of July celebration.

Happy 4th, planet Earth. Hope you & your family enjoyed your day yesterday, celebrating 'Merica like my best half & I did. Wanted to share from our afternoon @ The Magic Kingdom. First off - if you thought Disney was crazy - nothing beats Fourth of July there. Whew.  Regardless - I got to ride my 3 favorites: Haunted Mansion. Space Mountain & finished off w/ Big Thunder Mountain. Fireworks @ Magic Kingdom essentially were the best I'd ever seen ANYWHERE else. The humidity was insane yesterday. Can't wait for the day when we relocate to that area and going to Disney after work everyday is a reality. That's my dream.

Today I get to see my family & then just get back on the workout train. Didn't do that this week but pushing hard for my staycation that starts in about two weeks! YAY. Thanks for stopping by & I'll see you back here in a few days! :) :)

HOORAY!! We made it to Friday!

Time to share my positives of the week..
1. I cashed out on some giftcards and bought new towels for our household.

2. I am addicted to working out! I love the joy and the hardwork. I've lost 4 lbs this month and this quote makes me feel invincible. I am excited to see more weight melt off and smaller sizes and the pink bikini that I've waited my whole life to wear to the beach.

3. I get to have a mini golf date with my parents & best half tomorrow night!!

4. Saturday I get the whole day with my best half on an adventure. Fazoli's for dinner :) :)
I used to work there & was THE breadstick lady.

5. This dog is my favorite. My bro's dog is incredible. She is super cute and gives the best hugs. :)

Hope you have a fantastic weekend no matter what you're doing. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you back here! If you want to keep up with my adventures feel free to follow me on Instagram HERE! :)

Weekend Recap.

It's always hard for me to get back to setting the alarms for another CRAZY work week but I am really excited for this coming weekend. Just got to keep my chin up and keep hitting the workouts each morning. :)

My weekend was pretty fantastic. It involved lots of rest & planning & working out. All that I LOVE.

I kind of went cray with the picture taking - at one point my hubs just stopped smiling. So it was like hey - can you put the phone away so we can focus on what's important - like not setting our house on fire with the grill. ;)

Saturday was awesome for many reasons.

#1//I finally had Starbucks after 2 months. I always get Green Tea & always get a few awkward glances because it is the only green drink they serve but its my favorite. Thanks to giftcards & my gold card - it was a nice treat.

#2//Stepped on the scale and smiled big when I lost another 2 lbs this week. Brings my total to 4 POUNDS this month. Hoping to work hard this weekend to lose a few more before the end of the month.

#3//Ordered two new towels for the house in some fun colors: Guacamole green & Coral (pink) from Target.

#4//Worked & sweated hard. Did Zumba expert level class #5. & some bodyweight training.

#5//Bought myself a small treat - Outshine Coconut Bars. Mmmm.

#6//Fiercely cleaned my bedroom for 3 hours while fighting with internet issues and lack of A/C.
& all my Laundry done! :)

Today was also INCREDIBLE.

#1//I'm a planner - which calms me. Got some ideas brainstormed.

#2//Got our grilling on. Pretty tasty.

#3//Enjoyed Jersey Mike's for dinner.

#4//Celebrated the fact that these crazy Fla rainstorms are keeping our flowers growing pink :)

But Monday is back. Ready for our mini golf date on Friday with my parents. & next weekend's adventure which involve a great dinner, tanning/theme parks, and time with my best half! :)

Thanks for stopping by & I'll see you back here soon!

The icing on the cake.

Sometimes you just need a relaxing yet productive weekend to soak up in. I faced this issue this am when I got to work after having binge-watched the second season of 'Orange is the New Black' over Friday night/Saturday. I guess to some that seems silly and not cool but I am taking advantage of the fact that I don't have kids yet. Thanks for the judgment, work peeps. I get it.

Friday was my brother's birthday. The best way to celebrate? 4Rivers BBQ and chocolate cake. Time with family reminiscing about my favorite stories of my brother. He tried to unsuccessfully play the 'I don't remember that card' but lo & behold - I think he did. The best part was that his little boy, my hilariously cute nephew had his cake but then went around trying to convince everyone else he hadn't & should have some of theirs. He got a few extra bites but overall - we all know he had cake and we weren't sharing ours! After the cake, I hit the eliptical at home (this continues to be the BEST present from Christmas). Worked off something.

Saturday we continued to watch OINB on Netflix. I will say there was a few hours gap that day. We needed to get cleaning done and lawns mowed. You know, the domesticness of being a wife needed to happen. We straightened up some rooms in our house, vacuuming and really making all the painting we did last month - look incredible. Hubs cooked us dinner while we resumed our show and it was one of those awesome evenings.

Yesterday was the icing on the cake. We headed to my parents house to swim and enjoy the company of family. Our nephew kept showing me all his animals, his dump truck and just is the smartest little boy. We played in the pool, he threw us his rings and we threw the ball back and forth. I got a tad more tan apparently. He likes to give me kisses (upon request) and I hate when we have to leave but his little waves as he tells us goodbye is the cutest. Pulls at my heartstrings that little guy. & when I got home, I did a step workout - and am now sore. Alas, I am back to Jillian Michaels today & trying the Tone it Up workouts as well.

All in all - I needed this weekend. I didn't have to set an alarm. I got to turn off alarms. I got time with my mister and my pups. I cleaned fiercely (stress relieving). I got to listen to the rain. And I could take naps when I want. The weekends are the best part of my week. Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you back here again for So What, Wednesday :)

our recent #weekendadventures

Last night while laying in bed, that's honestly when C & I decide to chat at night. Worst time ever really because I am usually either in the extreme of super tired - will fall asleep when my head hits the pillow or wide awake. In the past few nights, I've been reflecting on how blessed my life is. I live in Florida (a LOT of people here hate living here for whatever reasons). I have annual passes to two of the best theme parks around (can go/leave when I want) and I'm a homeowner. I also am blessed to have my family live close by as well as most of my close gal pals. This has allowed me to have some pretty fantastic impromptu coffee dates or other adventures. Thought I'd take this post to share some of our recent adventures.

1) That hot pink truck thing was what I designed recently when we were riding Test Track. My hubs gave me full creative control so what else but to design a funky, HOT pink truck. I was proud and couldn't stop smiling. Needless to say, this will NOT be our next car.

2) The middle pic is from our experience at the Flower & Garden festival at Epcot in April. If you've never been to this - its amazing, the entire park is decked out in flowers with HGTV demonstrations and different individuals who've planted flowers/veggies, etc showcase their talents. There is food, entertainment. This was in the butterfly garden - hundreds of butterflies flying around, I snapped a picture of one resting in the flowers.

3) Part of what I love about Disney and their details during the Flower & Garden festivals which made me smile: different Disney characters pop up around the park shaped and pruned from plants/shrubs. I love Winnie the Pooh, they had the entire cast there - but since I didn't want to dominate it - I had to take short/choppy pictures.

4) center: Prince Charming & Cinderella//Flower & Garden festival.

5) Belle & Beast//Flower & Garden festival.

6) Disney water tower from the Backlot Tour at what will always be MGM to me.

7) More butterflies/flowers.//Flower & Garden festival.

There are many more pictures - but I've essentially taken up residence at Disney this year. We just went Sunday and I am already excited to head out again. :)

Tonight is elliptical/Jillian as I catch up on some shows. I am sad its the time of year when my shows all end till the fall. But I am excited for America's Got Talent to start back up. That will be fun to enjoy til we get some time off later this summer. What about y'all? Any big summer plans or things you're looking forward to? Yay for 5 on Friday tomorrow :)

Thanks for stopping by//God Bless - J

25 Things You Don't Know About Me.

Happy Sunday, friends! :)

Hope you had a fantastic day. We went to the new church plant and am excited to go again. Everyone was really friendly, the message felt a big long but overall a positive experience. When we came back, we bathed the pups to get them ready to go bye byes (always an exciting time for our pups) to get their heartworm test/meds. They weren't excited but they did it without yelping like that tiny chihuahua in front of them. The real excitement comes when we have to get them to take their heartworm meds every month - anyone with dogs have good ideas for this?

Not sure if you've gotten into the Winter Olympics or not - I started watching them after my surgery but I didn't get real into it. I was more sad that my shows were on hiatus until after they ended. I started getting excited thinking it was this week they were coming back but lo & behold - next week I am excited for these shows specifically: Scandal & Parenthood!

So - here's what I wanted to do on my blog tonight. When I used to read those celebrity mags - they'd have this section that the celebrity would share these unknown facts. So I thought why not share 25 facts about myself? Here we go.

1) When I have a bad day at work, I go HERE or over HERE for a belly laughin good time.
2) I am a coupon clipper - but not like the extreme hoarders who take it a bit too far.
3) Sometimes I don't update Facebook for more than a week!
4) My Instagram & Starbucks are good friends of mine.
5) I make a mean batch of tacos, they're my husband's favorite meal.
6) I invented his second fave meal on accident, try them yourself - recipe HERE! :)
7) After having my favorite scent @ Bath & Body Works for over a decade - I just switched to my new scent - Sexy Dahlias!
8) My favorite times in college were going to Barnes & Noble, finding a comfy couch with Sbux & reading James Patterson mystery novels. Perfect way to relax my mind.
9) My favorite ice cream sandwiches are Market Pantry from Target!
10) Most of the ideas from my wedding were DIY projects: centerpieces, guestbook, etc.
11) Cadbury Creme Eggs & Peeps are my favorite candy.
12) Cracker Barrel & Waffle House are my favorite roadtrip restaurants.
13) My favorite thing to do is peruse the Kitchen aisle at Target or Walmart.
14) Every year I treat myself to a Krispy Kreme donut for that fix.
15) I'm a 'card' person. I grew up giving people birthday cards & sending Christmas cards. My husband didn't. I think his family gets confused when I send them each year.
16) I get excited about trips to Target. Especially when the clearance section is involved.
17) I enjoy flipping the calendar every 1st of the month. Especially with our vintage Disney 2014 calendar.
18) I'm addicted to Smart Water.
19) My brother & I have an arrangement to where on his birthday, I am allowed to spoil my nephew more.
20) Every year on March 5th & September 10th - I make a big fuss about my dogs' birthdays.
21) I am the most creative at JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby or the crafty section @ Walmart.
22) I am addicted to the taste of Buffalo -- especially Mac & Cheese (Market Pantry).
23) I love looking up recipes of Pinterest. Especially for my crock pot.
24) Our bakery that made our wedding cake - the top layer was Root Beer flavored.
25) When I got married & tried to change my name on Facebook - they required me sending a copy of my marriage license first!

Hope you enjoyed those facts. Time to take some meds to feel better, still recovering. Hope your Monday is awesome, I am picking up my long awaited Girl Scout cookies from my sister. :) ~ J

Valentine's Day//Weekend Adventures.

Happy Saturday, loves :)

No surprise that this verse calms me. I mean in the last week - I was so sick and worried what was going on with my body. My husband told me at first he thought I was having a stomach ache but when I told him that my friend with med background thought it was gallbladder related, he was scared for me. Now that it's been a week after the surgery, I am almost back to normal. This whole experience re-ignited a spark inside me that God knew this whole time that the surgery would cease the pain and I would feel better. This spark made me realize that I get to scared and start putting my trust in WebMD (only at drastic measures) instead of Him who took care of us.

Secondly - I am so glad that VDay is over. I've never really cared about it because I should depend on one day out of the year for my husband to show me how he feels - that's what he does daily. Especially on our anniversary. So this year we kept it low key. Including these gems: Tijuana Flats & House of Cards..

Tijuana Flats & House of Cards - season 2. #VDayCombo

Definitely shaping up to be a great weekend. Tomorrow we're trying out a new church plant, G3 Church right down the road. I am excited for the possibility of finding a home church and building new friends nearby. Hope you had a fantastic week/weekend thus far. ~ J

February Goals.

Happy Friday, loves :)

I think this is a new tradition - to find some pretty fantastic laughs to start off my weekend. Because these are all attitudes or thoughts that have crossed my mind today.

But in other news - my biggest highlight of the week: Paid off my highest unsub loan.  (Sallie Mae screwed me in the process so its not totes gone - super thrilled for that $1.53 payment next month!)

Tomorrow is February 1st. That is insane! I wanted to go ahead and get my February goals out there so that I can start off the month strong.

February 2014 Goals:

1) Exercise + Great choices daily = Lower size! (Counting down til cruise)

2) Drink more water daily.

3) Monitor my 'Treat Yo Self' days better.

4) Experiment in kitchen more.

5) Be on the lookout for DIY projects that are realistic & affordable.

I am excited about these simpler goals. I feel like February will be a great month even when my Girl Scout cookies arrive. I really wanted to weigh less for our Disney cruise in March but I still have 6 weeks to make a dent. YAY. Happy Friday! - Jessica

{Oh how I love} Saturdays.

Wow sometimes I surprise myself - two posts in a day. & my tenacity to lose the weight in terms of choices that I need to make in order to do so. While I won't deny it, I wanted to lose more than .6 so why not put in the absolute most effort in every area - while keeping my balance in tact. I was telling Chris at dinner (Sam's Club cafe is a luxury) that I feel like the reason I am feeling great about this new motivation & determination is that I am doing what I set out to do without going to extreme. Like I think last year when I was trying to lose the weight - I made unrealistic goals and it just didn't happen. You can't lose 10 lbs overnight or by the following week. This seems like a silly concept but there are many sweaty nights & many workouts ahead before I even make a dent. & that's okay - I'd rather work for it and earn it than be given the body I want. That's my mantra this year - to work hard & dream big.

This week I posted in my weekly linkup 'Girl Between the Lines' about my dad here & while this week was how his perseverance has been reflected in my life thanks to him - it's definitely not the only teachable moment we've had. Though I will admit that I wish I could go back in time - when I was a teen - I chose not to listen to the teachable moments available so that's a regret but I am thankful that my dad is my dad. Everyday is an encouragement from him in terms of my weight loss - and I will never forget the text I received from him on my two previous birthdays - something along the lines of: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter, you are loved greatly by the Lord and by me - I am so blessed and humbled that I am your dad" - I literally teared up. Even on days where this weight loss journey of mine feels undo-able - he sends texts like that to remind me that no matter what the scale says - I am beautiful & greatly loved! & so are you!

Don't you just love Saturdays that aren't boring to a degree? When I woke up this am - I was telling Chris all that I wanted to get done & for most, this wouldn't be like a jump to it kind of plans. I've been in this cleaning mode since last night - where I've been looking for stuff that needs to be rearranged & made it clean & orderly. Today was no different - we took all of the boxes in our houses from Christmas and the past few months, broke them down & took them to be recycled. Finally can walk in the room without it being an complicated obstacle. & while getting groceries today - we decided to be impulsive a tad. Yay for new pillows & mixer drinks. For those nights that I need a Pina Colada or Margarita. 3 bags for $20 @ Sam's. Dealio!

I am in process of making my blog more - me. Someday when I am done paying off my student loans I will get a design done from Lauren @ The Albrecht's Blog - this chick is talented in that area! Until then - I am busy trying to earn extra to pay all this down. But if anyone has any talent making blog buttons - I'd really like to learn how to make one for my blog & learn how to put other people's buttons on mine. I'd appreciate anyone's talent in that aspect. Also, I am considering putting my blog on Facebook - for those that do it - have you seen more followers find your blog easier?

Hope your weekend has been fantastic. Time to do some Pinterest & shopping online - I am a visual person so to get excited about my weight loss - I am trying to find something cute in a smaller size to work towards.

As always - thank you for stopping by. Welcome. You stay classy - xo. Jessica

Serendipitous.

Thank God it's late Friday night/early Saturday morning! Goodness - all week I've been hitting it hard on the workout front except tonight - I indulged on pizza. But I kept having this intuitive feeling that I needed a late night writing sesh where I rocked out to Paramore & did some writing. Who knows its practically 2 am here & I could totes be a rebel and stay up ALL NIGHT. Since its practically Saturday - naps are always a possibility for me. Since I love my husband I will just stick to my headphones instead of making it a concert in my living room. Kind of like that Lizzie McGuire moment where it incredibly backfires on here before she graduates middle school. Fave movie back then.

This week seemed to fly right on by for me. This am - my boss' mom brought us in breakfast - glad that was a 1 day event because I will not be losing any weight if I had a warm Krispy Kreme donut on a daily basis. Though I won't deny a warm, fresh donut over a cold one - is there anything to really compare that too?

Have you ever found yourself in a purging mindset? Like you just need to either fiercely clean your house because you need to clean or because it helps you process & work through stuff on your own. Tonight I felt like that - after I had too many calories for dinner - I have been eyeing my kitchen all week like when did a windstorm come through & make a mess in my house. I felt embarrassed and took on about ninety projects simultaneously. What became a project of sweeping the floor, became so much more than that & boy did it feel good. Everything is cleaned off - some dishes that took over my sink are finally washed, & I can feel proud of my effort. Tomorrow is our biweekly grocery trip & I am so glad that I finally re-arranged our pantry - I won''t feel like such a hoarder with all the Pampered Chef, and stuff flying all over my shelves.

Besides my kitchen that makes me sound like a hobo who doesn't clean that often -- (I really do) - it was much needed to just work it out. I am not really stressed to a degree except with my weight loss goals. I weighed myself and lost .6 over the past few days, but its made me want to do more. I feel like its good for your mind + yourself to have a day/night to get everything in order. Makes everything seem much clearer than trying to go about it blindfolded.

Whew - its 3am. I feel mentally unpacked & kind of like when Buddy the Elf runs into his dad's office with Zooey Deschanel like I'm in love, I'm in love & I dont care who knows it! One of my favorite lines & favorite movies.

Already excited to get to sleep so I can sleep in tomorrow. You stay classy & thanks for stopping by. - Jessica

Sewing, Family & Chocolate

Hi lovelies! Just thought I'd pop in - last night I was working on my attempted linkup but then my computer died & I hadn't saved my post - to make a frustrating story shorter - I decided I needed 'me time'. I caved and found this big Santa ($1 at Wal-Mart) that was calling my name. Sometimes chocolate can be your best friend or at least make a rough week better.

This weekend I am once again humbled by my family, especially my mom. She is 8 months away from graduating with her Master's in Occupational Therapy & took time to help me get at least 2/3 done with my sewing projects even though she had a big amount of homework to do. I learned what servant leadership is because of her and her example. Almost done with my dad's gift & my parents' combined gift but next week - I will be finishing those & my nephews. Is anyone else waiting for gifts they ordered online? Looks like I'll be making some calls this week. Starting to become a nail biter again.

Welp, so far its been a nice weekend - doing the wife thing with laundry & house stuff. Tomorrow we're taking advantage of our Sea World passes & the nice weather to celebrate in their Christmas festivities. I'm excited to have the time with my husband - and taking lots of pictures together & those cute animals. :) Wishing all of you a restful Sunday in all of your adventures!

- Jessica
